Benno Voorham

Benno Voorham

Since finishing his education at the SNDO in Amsterdam he has worked as a freelance dance-maker, choreographing numerous projects with dancers throughout Europe. Since 1995 Benno has worked intensively in the countries of the former Soviet Union teaching workshops, choreographing and setting up collaboration projects. Benno has made several successful performances for children and young people. Benno has been involved in the organising of DIP-festival in Sweden (at Moderna Dansteatern) and a number of conferences for dance teachers as well as conducting various projects in Eastern Europe.

Benno is the choreographer of the performance and acts as coordinating producer on site.

Madeléne Beckman

Madeléne Beckman

Madeléne Beckman is an architectural pedagogue and museum educator at the Swedish Museum of Architecture since 2002. Works with workshops, lectures and pedagogical programs both at the museum and at international events as well as curating exhibitions. Studied Integrated Conservation of the Built Environment at Gothenburg University. Is on the board and a founding member of PLAYCE –an international association of architecture education. Has earlier worked at the Swedish Museum of Technology as well as the Swedish Museum of Telecommunication.

Role in project

Madeléne is part of the first meetings between dancers, choreographer on the one side and the teenagers on the other side in the pilot projects and she contributes in the initial work for the creation of the performance.

Maline Casta

Maline Casta

Maline Casta is a visual artist based in Stockholm. Over the last 10 years she has created set and costumes for a large number of opera, theater and dance productions in Sweden and abroad. Her design credits include Compania Nacional de Danza (Spain), Juilliard (New York),QUARTO (Sweden/Brazil) and Dorte Olesen Production (Sweden). Maline also produces her own performance art pieces which have been presented at art festivals throughout Europe. She holds an MFA in stage design from Tisch School of the Arts, New York University and is currently doing her second master at Konstfack in Stockholm.

Ion Coroi

Ion Coroi

Ion Coroi works and lives in Iasi, Romania. Although he graduated the Faculty of Dentistry, he has developed as web and sound designer. 

His audio works are connected to minimal, experimental, soft, wellbehaved, bedtime music. All prooves are digitally archived on netlabels such as Arhiva7 (Romania, http://arhiva7.ro/netlabel) or Sweet Smelling Surfaces (http://www.sumodehouse.com/sss/).

The sound adventure comes from walking through galleries, industrial spaces, on the green grass either alone or together with the visual company of Agnes, Istvan, Oana Felipov and Dan Basu.

Veronika Sapiga

Veronika studied international economics at Dnipropetrovsk University of Economics and Law. In 2008 she started to work with Ukrainian designer Natalia Muzichenko as an assistant. 2009 she became master of style for the Ukrainian fashion brand " Giaterie". From that period on she worked as a costume designer of dance costumes (theater "Potoki", and with choreographer Daniil Belkin). 2010 worked with the costumes for the performance of Benno Voorham " Kings and Queens and Other Bosses". Works from 2013 in Kiev as personal master of style. June 2013 costume assistant in the project "Home" in Ukraine.

Alexandra Soshnicova

Choreographer, dancer and vice-president of ADDM.

She organises local and international projects, international festivals of modern dance in Moldova and she is a choreographer in Dance group “Voices”. Alexandra has co-organized international dance festivals since 2000, with support from the Soros Foundation, ECF, Pro Helvetia, Swedish Institute and other funding bodies.

Kataryna Radchenko

Born and living in Odessa, Ukraine. Since 2009, Kateryna established Art Travel, a NGO that organizes art events and curates art projects. She is active as a visual artist and lectures on “Theories of modern photography”. Kateryna curated several Ukrainian-Swedish projects supported by the Swedish Institute in 2006 – 2007. From June 2009 Art Travel is one of the partners of the International Art Platform “River//Cities”.

September 2010 – photo project “Without borders” inside International project SEAS X (Turkey, Georgia)

November 2010 – Art Travel is one of the founders of the International Foundation River//Cities.

Alexander Tebenkov

Alexander Tebenkov – is a dancer and choreographer of “Gallery”. After graduating from Moscow State Institute of Culture in Oriol he was a dancer at Grodno regional Philharmonic Society. In 1994 he started his own group – the Modern Ballet “Gallery”, for which he began to stage experimental works, (which became a part of Grodno regional Drama Theatre in 1996). He studied modern dance in the Summer Dance School in Poznan, Poland (1997-1999) and master-classes and workshops held by well-known choreographers from Russia, France, Poland, Sweden, the USA. He took part in different International festivals and projects. Alexander is the initiator of multiple art projects in the field of modern dancing. He taught master-classes in modern techniques and jazz dance in Belarus and Poland.

Alexandra is from Grodno (Belarus). She graduated from faculty of Innovative Business and Management (DSTU) in Rostov-on-Don (Russia).  Her major fields of work are brand-management, marketing and cultural management. At her work she develops cooperation between business and art. At present Alexandra works as a marketing consultant for DVI (Minsk), as manager assistant for Korniag Theatre(Minsk), as a project manager in Belarus  for a project about modern Belorussian art: madeinby.net (by fiveservice.it).

Alexandra met Benno  Voorham in 2012 during the "CHANGE!?" project (Belarus).

Inna Aslamova Belarus

Inna Aslamova is a dancer, choreographer and teacher. In 1994 she formed the Contemporary Dance Group “Quadro”. Inna has presented her works at international festivals in many countries. From 2001 to 2007 she was the Head of the Contemporary Dance Department of the Children Dance School in Gomel. It was the first as such in Belarus. I. Aslamova  is co-initiator of several international projects in the field of contemporary dance, amongst others: “Unusual Theater Night”, “Summer Art School of Mark Chagall Museum/ Young dancers and artists' workshop”.

Daniil works as a dancer, choreographer and teacher. Mariia Kondratieva is a dancer and choreographer from Ukraine. In 2009 she founded “Breaze” dance theatre and school  in Dnipropetrovsk  to offer a contemporary dance education and performing possibilities for a young generation. Mariia works as a teacher in other dance schools and as a performer in international contemporary dance projects. Dmitry Vizir

In 2003 Dmitry graduated from the school of modern dance "Other Dances" in Dnipropetrovsk,Ukraine. From 2003-2010 he was a dancer and teacher in dance theater "Potoki". He participated in  various international festivals of contemporary dance: "The phenomenon of Relationship" in Moldova (Chisinau), International Festival "Free dance" (Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine), the festival of alternative dance "Jam House" (Kiev).Dmitry collaborated with Michel Abdul from the french Compagnie Christine Bastin in "Sketches on the water.  Performed in "The Banks", a joint project of choreographer Benno Voorham (Stockholm, Sweden), Dance Theater «Potoki» (Dnepropetrovsk) and ”Voices” (Chisinau, Moldova). Since 2010 working as teacher and choreographer at the school of modern dance "Moves Dance Studio" (Lebanon)
